Take part in Dementia Action Week - 21 May - 27 May 2018!
This Dementia Action Week, Dementia Friends will be asking everyone across the UK to unite with them and take actions – big or small – that will make everyday life better for people affected by dementia. Your action could be as simple as continuing to invite a person with dementia on a day out. Or asking if someone needs help if they look confused – small actions have a big impact and everyone can play their part!
Together by collectively taking action, we can create a more just, supportive society. The kind of society we can all be proud to be part of. By taking action we are United Against Dementia!
Become a Dementia Friend - A Dementia Friend learns a little bit more about what it's like to live with dementia and then turns that understanding into action - anyone of any age can be a Dementia Friend. Whether you attend a face-to-face Dementia Friends Information Session or watch our online video, Dementia Friends is about learning more about dementia and the small ways you can help. From telling friends about Dementia Friends to visiting someone you know living with dementia, every action counts.
If you are interested in becoming a Dementia Friend, please leave your details with Reception and we will contact you when we are able to organise an information session with our Dementia Champion.
