Urgent message 

As you may have experienced, we have had to cancel some routine tests for our patients due to problems experienced by NHS supplier Roche.  Unfortunately, this current situation is out of the control of the practice so we would ask patients to be bear with us while the situation is resolved.  We would like to assure all patients if tests are urgent that we are able to carry these out.  We understand how frustrating this situation is for everyone and we will do everything we can to ensure that routine tests are rebooked as soon as we are able.

During Covid-19 crisis we ask that patients do not come to the surgery unless invited to do so by the Practice.  We are trying to protect all our patients,  in particular vulnerable patients, as well as practice staff. If you develop Coronavirus symptoms please do not attend the practice for your appointment, please contact the surgery to re-book.

We would also recommend in accordance with Government guidance when attending the Surgery or Dispensary that patients/visitors wear a face mask or coveringAlso, you will find a hand sanitiser station when entering the waiting room; we request patients use this on entering and leaving this area.  Thank you for your ongoing support and cooperation.

We're making it easier for you to get help from the Surgery by using askmyGP.  You can put in a request for yourself, your child or someone you care for. 
  • We are available for online requests between 0700 am and 1.00pm each working day (Mon-Fri).  If you have an urgent query after this time please ring Reception
  • We aim to respond within the working day however if you query is not urgent it may be deferred to the next working day
  • We encourage the use of askmyGP as an alternative to calling the Reception team, for appointment requests or queries both regarding practice processes and medical advice.
  • You can name a GP if you wish (so long as they are working today)
  • You may prefer a message, telephone, video or face to face response
  • You can sign up now, with no paperwork however you will need to ensure that you access the site via: CHROME, MS EDGE, SAFARI OR FIREFOX

Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and well-being whatever your medical condition.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you spot any symptoms which could indicate cancer, don't just sit worrying about it at home - you can still contact your GP, usually by telephone or online.  They will be able to advise on whether you need to get checked.  If you have an urgent appointment for a diagnostic test, or are having treatment already it is important you attend your appointments.  The team looking after you will be able to advise on how to do this, if you are in doubt.

Patient services are provided at ground level. A disabled patients’ toilet is provided. If access proves difficult for any of our disabled patients we would be happy to give any assistance required. We also provide a portable induction loop to assist patients with a hearing deficiency.
